Primrose Everdeen

Katniss isn't dead, and neither is Gale or anyone else. It's been announced publicly that they survived the bombings, and that's not something that the Capitol would lie about. They'd never want us to have that hope, if they could help it. There's still a lot of fighting going on, especially in the civilian areas, and President Coin asked some of us medics to fly to the Capitol and help the wounded. Mother is staying, but I volunteered.

I'm on the way right now, in a hovercraft. The trip will take a few hours. We're all scared; most of us have never been in a combat situation before. But don't regret the choice I made. I'm not a soldier and I still hate danger, but I want all this to end just as much as everyone else does, and I want to play my part. Someday I want to have a quiet life, but for now, I just want to be able to help in any way that I can.

Homura, Madoka, Nagisa, and Sherry-- maybe when all this is over, we can have lunch again? Keeping in mind the good things that will happen in the future does a lot to keep us all going, and right now, I just keep thinking about that beautiful park on Nagisa's world. I'd love to go back there someday, all together.
